Getting Your Customer Orders into EllieMD Insights
For the Customers tab (Customer Pro and Director Pro): export your customer Order History from Trinity, upload it once, then just add the current month going forward. Takes about 2 minutes.
What You'll Need
- Access to your Trinity account
- Your EllieMD Insights login
- About 2 minutes
Looking for the genealogy import instead (Director Pro downline dashboard)? That's the Genealogy Import Guide.
Log in to Trinity and open Order History
Sign in at partner.elliemd.com, then go to My Activity → Order History. (Same site as your genealogy report — but a different report.)
Change Order Type to "Customer"
This is the step everyone misses: the report defaults to Personal, which pulls your own orders. Switch Order Type to Customer so you get your customers' orders instead.
Set the date range
First time: set the start date to 1/1/2025 (or your earliest month) through today, so your full history loads in one shot.
Every time after: just leave it on the current month. The Customers tab remembers everything you've already imported and simply adds the new orders — nothing gets overwritten.
Refresh, then Download
Click Refresh to run the report, then Download to save the CSV to your Downloads folder.
Open the Customers tab
Log in to your EllieMD Insights dashboard. On Customer Pro you'll land on the Customers tab automatically; on Director Pro click Customers in the top navigation.
Import your orders CSV
Click Import orders and choose the CSV you just downloaded. You'll see a confirmation of how many orders came in and how many were new.
Review your reach-out queue
Your customer list builds instantly: who's due for a reorder, who's gone quiet, loyalty badges, and AI-suggested opening lines you can edit before sending. Your notes, VIP flags, and "contacted" checkmarks stay saved across every import.
Easiest: paste your Trinity Lead + Customer List straight in
Trinity has no download button on this page, so you copy the table instead. In Trinity go to My Activity → Lead + Customer List. Select the table by dragging from its first row to its last row, then copy.
In the Customers tab click Paste list, paste into the box, and click Import pasted list. If your list runs to several pages in Trinity, copy each page and paste it under the last; repeated header rows and blank lines are fine. (Prefer a file? Paste into a spreadsheet, save it as a CSV, and use Import contacts instead.)
Customers get their emails and phone numbers filled in. Anyone marked ASSIGNED is flagged "do not contact" automatically: their orders still count in your totals, but they stay out of your reach-out list, suggested messages, and exports. Lead rows are skipped, since leads aren't customers yet. Re-upload whenever the list changes; it only adds and updates.
Or use the contact template
Click Contact template to get a blank CSV with the right columns: Customer ID, Name, Email, Phone, Notes, VIP, Do not contact. Fill in what you have, then click Import contacts. Everyone you import shows up — whether or not they've ordered yet. Put Yes in the Do not contact column to keep someone out of outreach.
Brand Partners are handled for you. If you upload your genealogy (Director Pro), any customer whose Customer # now appears in it is tagged Brand Partner and left out of the reach-out list, so you never message someone who is already on your team.
You're all set!
Your Customers tab now knows exactly who to reach out to and when. Import the current month's orders once a month (or whenever you like) to keep it fresh — everything you've saved carries forward.
